AWARENESS CAMPS : are conducted in the target districts for in formation dissemination
REGISTRATION : carried out preferably in cluster form to facilitate the communication
operational part and the certification process.
TRAINING , GUIDANCE AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT :
for bio -input production , organic practices and organic farm management right from
seed to produce as per the organic standards .
in addition to supplying bio -input pagrexco undertakes hand holding of the organic farmers
for certified organic production regime of their farms which are finally certified by
APEDA ACCREDITED GLOBAL CERTIFICATION AGENCY.
MARKETING AND PROMOTION OF ORGANIC PRODUCTS:
punjab agro is providing market linkages to the organic produce of the organic farmers by
procuring the main crops e.g wheat basmati , paddy at remunerative prices to farmers
scintifically storing them in an organic way in specialized cocoons , processing at certified
organic mills and selling it through specialized mart "organic hut" at the punjab agro
premises . in addition to the procured grains i.e. organic wheat , organic basmati rice and
organic maize through the mandi process other organic products are also purchased and are
available at organic hut .www.punjabagro.gov.in
